MEDICAL
GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP
There will be another mission team visiting Guatemala this year led by Doug and Betsie McLeod from the Concord Methodist Church. Doug and Betsie led a team last year which included members of our church. The team will leave on July 31 for one week and will  be primarily involved in medical  services to local clinics in Guatemala. There is a need for medical practitioners and also people to help in the pharmacy, to help the nurses and to help with the children who are either patients themselves or who attend with their parents. You will be updated later if there is a construction component of the team.
Please contact Doug and Betsie directly at mac4160@comcast.net or Lyn Arscott larscott@pacbell.net or 820 2095.

For more details or to register contact the trip leaders noted above.
Signup is due February 1st for the March trips and March 1st for the April trip.

ALASKA MISSION TRIP

CONSTRUCTION AND Vacation BIBLE School
Lynnewood United Methodist Church in Pleasanton, California is sponsoring this trip.
The trip will be to Seward, Alaska in August to provide a Vacation Bible School at two churches on the Kenai Peninsula. We will provide VBS during the week of August 10th-14th at the Seward and Moose Pass United Methodist Churches.
We will also provide some repairs and maintenance at each church.
Travel will be a few days before the VBS and we will return a day or two after the VBS depending on your interest to explore the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. Accommodations will be at the homes of church families and at the Seward Church.
Given that there are many planning considerations involved with this mission, it is important to open and close registration well in advance of the trip. There will also be a limit to the number of people who can go.
For more information contact Steve Elliott at 925-362-8697 or SAE612@msn.com.
