   1. Develop and prioritize local hands- on mission opportunities

   2. Recruit, equip and train volunteers

   3. Effectively communicate opportunities, plans and activities to the congregation and the Ad Board

   4. Collect and deliver goods to local organizations

   5. Coordinate activities with the other mission subcommittees

   1. Volunteers have regularly supported Souper kitchen and Loaves and Fishes with hands–on help

   2. Organized the Angel Tree project for Christmas 2007

   1. Set up a staggered 3 year rotation of six member committee to enable continuity and new membership-- Lyn, Ron

   2. Develop a significant local mission project in one of the neighboring regions such as Salinas, Oakland , Richmond.

   3. Prepare resource guide of local mission opportunities

   4. Communicate opportunities on the web site, The Messenger and other communication media
